VOLUNTEERS

VOLUNTEERS make camp happen! Without you, there wouldn't be a camp!

Everyone is welcome to serve as a Twilight Camp volunteer. Our greatest need is for Unit Leaders who oversee girl units as they move between activities. We also welcome parents who want to serve in program areas: Nurse, Cook, Crafts, Older Girls, etc.

• Unit Leader Volunteers must arrive by 5:30 pm each night during the week of camp

• Unit Leader Training - Sunday, April 27 from 1:00pm-5:00pm, Ford Park, plus a one-hour online safety course

• Parent/Camper Meeting - Tuesday, May 13 from 7:00-8:00pm, Ford Middle School

DADS we need your help too. We're always looking for dads to help make camp an enjoyable experience for all the camper.

All Twilight Camp volunteers must:

• Be a registered Girl Scout Adult. Register here.

• Complete a criminal background check. GSNETX will initiate all background checks once you register as a volunteer.

• Complete the Protecting Our Girls course. GSNETX will share information on this training when it's available.

 

Volunteering for camp guarantees 3 camper spots. Volunteers will NOT be placed in a unit with the children they have registered.
